this is a beautiful ring. I really like the design of having additional CZ on the band too. the blue stone appears a bit too blackish when worn, but the ring is still very pretty. it would have been even better if this had rhodium plating.
What is an acceptable carat weight diamond to get for an engagement ring? It is going to be an oval cut.
that depends on whether or not you intend to buy her a separate wedding ring set.. if you plan to get her an upgrade later on, i'd say to get her about a 1/2 carat or so.. if you plan on just getting her a band later, i'd go for at least a 1 carat.
My engagement ring is a 5 ct. ,oval cut "cognac" diamond. And stunning. But....I never seen one before...(ever). Are colored diamonds as valuable as the "normal" diamonds?
