This ring was purchased as a wedding band. We wanted something that would go nicely with my engagement ring. My engagement ring is white gold with a single Marquise cut diamond. We were looking for something fairly simple, classy, with small diamonds – but big enough for one to see.
The clarity of the diamonds in this ring are amazing. I was pleasantly surprised how sparkly they were. Once I wore it, it immediately out-staged my engagement ring! I had already been wearing my engagement ring for 2 years so I thought perhaps the new ring looked so nice compared to it since it was – well, new.
We got married in July 2009 so I’ve now worn the ring for over a year. It still looks amazing. I never take it off, so it has certainly been exposed to many elements! The settings do not get caked up like some other diamond rings I’ve worn in the past. The band does not scratch easily or bend. I have to be completely honest and say that I see a slight discoloring, but that is not uncommon with white gold. You’ll notice over time it will get a little closer to gold than silver....
