Has anyone purchased an engagement ring from Blue Nile?

I am thinking about purchasing a diamond engagement ring from Blue Nile. The diamond I chose is a 1.02 carat Radiant cut

Yes, my ring came from bluenile, fantastic quality. I was looking for an emerald shape and they had the most selection though http://www.brilliance.com was neck and neck with them. I do like http://www.adiamor.com recently, they seem the most competitive.

Should I use moissanite, cz, sapphire or white?

I want to know all you owners of the stones above, moissanite, high quality cz sapphire and white as the stone in place of the diamond engagement – What do you think? Asha Diamond owners can you answer? Moissanite is so expensive, white sapphire is hard to find decent, CZ is everywhere, but which is the best? I'm not going with a diamond because of artificially inflated prices and circumstances, they are under to get to our stores – but I do not want to show off all nice, but I do not have clairvoyants have real. I think a 1.5-2CT radiant, emerald or pear … What do you think? I'm tired of this research and have basically turned up with nothing Direct comparisons – Thanks for all your help in advance!

Maybe I can help a bit … It areother options that can be a good alternative to a diamond. CZ and Moissanite stones are created. Therefore, the line, they will never have a value greater that their manufacturing cost is … which is about $ 1.00 per stone. In addition, moissanite have tendncy turn slightly yellow CZ can chip easily. White Sapphire is nice because it is a real rock and not created, but its brilliance and scintillation (sparkle) is not that of a diamond or alternatives. A stone that I could Danburite suggest is … relatively inexpensive and has a nice, clean, white appearance. In addition, White Zircon … also inexpensive and has a nice shine. Do not get close to the intense heat as that can cause it to change colors. And, yes … is a real stone not to be confused with CZ. These alternatives should give you this great "bang for the buck" appeal.
