I usually prefer VS1 and above, but the jeweler says you'd need a loupe to see the SI1 imperfections. It's priced in my range, but I was hoping to upgrade to a D or E colored diamond as mine is an F colored one right now.
What is the price of this diamond? If it is certified by AGS – yes – and it depends on the price. Do you or your girlfriend have 20/20 vision? If so, you may pick up on the inclusions.
my girlfriend wants a round Any thing that is well cut, and doesn't leak out should disperse 'rainbow' colours, you can't really get a diamond to produce one colour unless it is a fancy coloured diamond. Cuts like round brill, cushion and pear should reflect light well due to the number of facets.
but there are now many many different round or near round cuts.
her importance is put mostly on clarity of the stone so im thinking vs1 or so and a colorless or near colorless...
