Advapowder - Diamond Powder

My husband is buying me a new ring for our anniversary. And I'm split on which I like best. A 3.5 carat asscher cut yellow diamond solitaire with white diamond accents channel set in the band, or a 2.75 carat cushion cut sapphire in a pave setting...

The sapphire may be treated so I rule that one out. The yellow diamond, if natural and not treated is a fine choice. Not because it is bigger, but because they are so beautiful when they are a good cut and clarity. Sapphires are more sedate and excuse the term, boring.

For just the stone you're looking at a minimum of $30,000 (assuming you want at least a VS2, F, Very Good cut).

The band is going to be at least 1,200, depending on the size/quality of the diamonds.
